Which Type to Choose?
Tumblers are a drinking cup that generally has straight or slightly tapered sides and no handle. They are designed to be easy to hold and stack.
- Rocks Glass/Old Fashion. A short, relatively wide tumbler designed for drinks served over ice. Often with capacity between 180mL-300mL. The most versatile option which is great for small kids or busy hospitality venues where breakages and spills are common.
- Highball. A tall, relatively narrow tumbler designed for longer drinks containing ice and a larger quantity of mixer. Often with capacity 240-350mL. Is suitable for venues where the same glass needs to accommodate several different beverages.
- Double Old Fashioned (DOF). The larger version of the traditional Old Fashioned or rocks glass. Capacity is between 350-470mL.
